"The training you provided for me to become a Tri-Motor captain was truly professional and outstanding.

The best part was simply flying your lovable Tri-Motor. It was like roaring through the pages of aviation history. A privilege and a joy. "

"In my time flying, I have had the opportunity to do a lot of really cool stuff, from aerobatics in an Extra 300L to sitting right seat in the Goodyear Blimp, I have enjoyed the opportunity to have a lot of fun with my feet off the ground. I can say with all honesty, that my experience with the Ford, was by far the best and most memorable experience in my aviation career! Thank you for an absolutely fantastic time, with a beautiful, memorable, and most of all, FUN experience in an airplane that also fits those superlatives! The old "Tin Goose" won my heart over, there is no question at all about that! The entire trip was the experience of a lifetime! Thank you for exceptional instruction and the unique opportunity to fly a piece of history!"

"I have spent the better part of my adult life pursuing the rarest, most exhilarating aviation experiences. There are few things to compare to the type rating experience in the Ford Tri-Motor. It was absolutely incredible! Thank you for keeping the Ford alive and making this available. I will never forget it!"

"THIS IS YOUR GRANDFATHER'S FORD!!! If you think the round engine on a De Havilland Beaver is cool, try it times 3 on an FO-5. No one has ever wanted to take a check ride again, at least not until you've piloted this beautiful machine! I'd trade any type rating for this!"

"Great airplane, great people, and great fun. The Ford has now become the most favorite airplane I have flown; with a laid-back yet very thorough instruction, Bryan has created an environment that makes it feel as though you're having fun on a vacation. Everyone involved is extremely nice and even the check ride was very fun and low-stress. I highly recommend this program to everyone!"

"The setting was perfect at 40G. You really could shoot a 1920's movie there with little set changes. The birth of commercial aviation is tied to the FO5. The story behind the design, development, production of the trimotor is extremely interesting. To me, the opportunity to get typed in the FO5 was like going on a aviation history field trip!!!"

"I have always had an interest in flying aviation history. When I heard that there was a program that offered a Ford Tri-Motor Type Rating, I had to look into it. The opportunity for me to fly a Ford Tri-Motor was like stepping back into time. A true "once in a lifetime experience". I was surprised how well the plane handled and the training was great."

"I knew going into flying the Ford Tri-Motor that it was going to be a unique experience. I just did not know to what extreme.  One word, WOW!  The aircraft is awesome, just like you would expect.  What I did not expect was the demeanor and professionalism of the instructor, Bryan Godlove.  What was so unique was Bryan's dad taught him to fly this same aircraft 25 years ago.  So the experience and techniques were really being passed down.  Bryan's years of experience in the aircraft showed with his calm attitude.  He will let you take it as safely as you can to your llimits and correct if you are able before he even thinks about assisting.  From the very first engine start (you do it without assistance) to the last landing on the type ride, he puts you at ease.  You will be the captain.  I have to say of all the training I have done in my aviation career this has to be one of the highlights.  Thanks guys!"

"The Ford Tri-Motor experience was one of my best flying experiences that I've ever had! I felt very fortunate to fly such an amazing aircraft built so long ago. The training was second to none, and made it possible for me to earn the rare FO-5 type rating to my airman certificate."

"All my life I have marveled at books, movies and even television shows about time machines and time travel. I always wondered what I would be like to pilot such a machine and take a trip back in time. Now I have my answer. Flying the Ford Tri-Motor was a very real dream come true that transported me back to the Golden Age of Aviation on magnificent silver wings. When I took those controls I was magically back where flying machines were mechanical beasts and those who flew them were a unique breed. It was a once in a lifetime experience!"

Wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed flying the Ford, meeting you. I think it is just great that you are carrying on the legacy.  Flying the Ford was really flying and I enjoyed every second of it.  I thought the way you taught made it a cinch. Just the right amount of coaxing at the right time.

Best regards,
